Project description

Design Statement for Office Layout

The main objective of this layout design was to create a functional and cohesive space that meets the diverse needs of employees and managers while providing comfort and efficiency. The design prioritizes both productivity and well-being, ensuring that the space not only functions well but also fosters a positive work environment.

Space Structure: The layout is divided into two main sections. On the left side, spaces such as the CEO's office (with a private restroom), the General Management office, the Administrative office, the Legal office, and the Accounting office have been designed. These spaces are logically separated to allow each department to carry out its tasks independently and efficiently. Additionally, there are separate restrooms for women and men, as well as a dedicated printing area.

On the right side of the layout, the reception area and customer waiting area are positioned, providing easy access to technical management offices and workspaces. Technical offices and meeting rooms are placed in this section, along with a small dining area and storage room for employee convenience.

Incorporation of Green Walls: Green walls are strategically integrated into the design as a smart solution to separate spaces while bringing a touch of nature and tranquility to the environment. These green walls are placed in workspaces and common areas, not only providing visual separation but also adding freshness and calmness to the atmosphere. Specifically, they are placed in high-traffic areas such as the reception and technical offices, balancing both aesthetics and functionality.

In addition to their visual benefits, these green walls serve as sound insulators and improve indoor air quality, contributing to the well-being and mental health of employees.

Connection and Integration of Offices: Upon reviewing the floor plan, it is clear that the spaces are separated by a central staircase and landing, with two distinct entrances. However, Tirrena desires that the new offices be designed in a way that feels integrated, with no sense of separation between them. This has been carefully considered in the design. The spaces are arranged to facilitate easy communication between departments while maintaining a cohesive and unified feel throughout. The use of open design principles and green walls as both visual and acoustic dividers ensures that the offices maintain a sense of connection without creating isolation.

Conclusion: Ultimately, the design of this office layout aims to create a dynamic and aesthetically pleasing space that enhances employee productivity and customer satisfaction. By carefully considering both private and shared spaces, incorporating green walls, and ensuring office integration, the design provides a flexible, beautiful, and efficient environment for all employees.
