Project description

Modern Villa Concept – Revigliasco, Moncalieri, Italy
Introduction
This project envisions a contemporary villa (or two villas) on a narrow, sloped plot in the hillside of Revigliasco. The design seeks to capture light, views, and the character of the landscape while offering a modern, functional, and inspiring home.
Design Vision
Key principles:
Clean, minimalist architecture with flat roofs and large glass openings.
Strong connection between indoor and outdoor living through terraces, pool, and sunken lounge.
Functional layouts with open living spaces, hidden service areas, and well-zoned private rooms.
A palette of stone, timber, and glass that blends with the hillside.
Scenario 1 – Two Villas
Two single-story homes, accessed via a winding internal road. Each villa features:
Open-plan living with ghost kitchen.
Master suite, two children’s bedrooms, study, and support spaces.
Covered terrace, infinity pool, and sunken lounge with fire pit.
Integrated garage and bright entry sequence for everyday comfort.
Scenario 2 – One Large Villa
A single villa (+ basement) with:
Subterranean garage and entertainment spaces.
Monumental entry sequence with stairs and tunnel access.
Spacious ground floor with panoramic living areas, bedrooms, and study.
Larger terraces, infinity pool, and outdoor living zones.
Conclusion
Both options celebrate light, views, and barefoot comfort—creating a villa that feels timeless, functional, and deeply connected to the hillside, a place the owner can fall in love with.
