Hotel Project Description
The primary objective of this project was to create a luxurious, calm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff while maintaining a careful balance between functionality and aesthetic quality. Despite the spatial limitations and constraints present within the existing building layout, every design decision was approached thoughtfully in order to respond effectively to the project requirements and achieve a harmonious architectural outcome.
The hotel plan has been developed to ensure that functionality and visual quality operate simultaneously and in parallel. Each space has been carefully organized to maximize usability while maintaining a refined spatial experience. The hotel accommodates a total of 22 guest rooms, including five four-person suites designed to provide flexibility and comfort for different types of guests.
On the first, second, and third floors, each level contains six rooms. One of these rooms is a four-person suite positioned at the end of the corridor on the right side of the plan, while the remaining rooms are designed as double rooms. Among the double rooms, one unit per floor is configured as a twin room with two separate beds. The ground floor includes four additional rooms, two of which are four-person suites.
Overall, the rooms are organized into four main typologies:
Suite (4 guests) — 35–45 sqm
Standard Room (Double) — 15–25 sqm
Terrace Room (Double) — 30 sqm
Superior Room (Double & Twin) — 32–40 sqm
All calculated areas include kitchenette and bathroom spaces. To support efficient hotel operations, each floor also includes a dedicated housekeeping storage room for cleaning equipment and service needs.
Within the lobby area, a compact reception desk has been proposed. Although optional and removable, it was intentionally included to enhance both the functional completeness and the spatial identity of the hotel and therefore appears within the lobby mood board presentation.
The interior design is represented through three primary room mood boards: a four-person suite, a standard room and a terrace room. These rooms are located sequentially along the right side of the plan on the first, second and third floors and serve as representative design models for the entire hotel. The remaining rooms follow the same spatial language, material palette, and design principles established in these main examples.
As illustrated in the mood boards, warm materials and color tones form the foundation of the interior atmosphere. Walnut-like wood finishes, soft textiles, and carefully balanced lighting work together with lighter tones to create spaces that feel luxurious yet intimate and welcoming. The intention was to evoke the comfort of a refined residential environment while maintaining the standards of a boutique hospitality experience.
To facilitate a clear understanding of the proposed interiors, detailed two-dimensional technical elevations of each wall have been provided. These drawings ensure that, should the project proceed to execution, the implementation process can be carried out smoothly and accurately.
In the entrance and lobby spaces, a combination of warm and light tones was selected to reinforce both elegance and a sense of invitation. Marble surfaces with soft brown and cream veining are paired with warm wood finishes and subtle golden accents, creating a balanced and sophisticated material composition. A vertically elongated crystal lighting fixture positioned at the center of the entrance emphasizes luxury while gently attracting the attention of passersby and enhancing the welcoming character of the hotel.
Corridors throughout the upper floors feature light warm-brown carpeting combined with soft cream wall finishes, wooden guest room doors, and metallic gold wall lighting fixtures with marble-inspired shades. Together, these elements reinforce a continuous atmosphere of calmness, comfort and understated luxury throughout the circulation spaces.
All selected materials and furniture elements are documented with corresponding codes and supplier references within the purchasing list, allowing straightforward access and facilitating an efficient realization process.
In the façade design, our intention was to create a luxurious and timeless architectural expression inspired by historic Italian buildings while incorporating the refined elegance of Parisian architecture. The exterior embodies both luxury and serenity simultaneously, presenting a calm and balanced architectural presence. The building façade and all interior spaces are conceived in complete harmony, forming a unified architectural identity throughout the hotel.
We hope this design conveys its intended atmosphere and offers an enjoyable and inspiring experience for its viewers and future guests.
