It's really great pleasure to follow this contest. I present this result as your request on the brief. I hope this design will be click with yourself and family.
The design is how to make strong connection with history of the house, while you explain from the picture that it's an old house. So that we make the color of the house is white. It makes the house connected with modern era which has simple tone.
Semi-Basement: From the plan, the idea is how get as much as light into the inside of the house. so that all of rooms is near to wall which has soil (without opening -window etc). there is also curtain wall to separate garage with living area, it will create users feel spacious while inside the house particularly in basement level.
Ground floor: All of the wall which separate dining and kitchen was refurbished with there is no partition. It brings direct connection with each area.
First floor : As you can see from the plan we put a small library in this level. we also make master bad room near from it. we hope the users will easily reach the library and watch to the outside.
