The design focuses on creating a foyer that feels airy, bright, and organized. A few coat rack and hallway storage design alternatives were explored, using mainly wood to create a light and warm feel to the interior. The open shelving doesn't touch the ceiling to make to space feels taller, while the finishes blend smoothly with the interior elements and profiles around it, such as the material of the existing door, wall, and floor. A range of wardrobe configurations were also considered, with different placement of the coat hanger, wardrobe, and open shelves, depending on client's needs. Either placing it coat rack near entry with storage racks further in, or the other way around. This gives flexibility so the hallway works best for your daily routine, while still feeling spacious and uncluttered.
