To provide the necessary area, the space in front of the current entrance and a part of the terrace were added to the area of the apartment. The current apartment unit was divided into two separate, almost equal units.
The entrance of the southern unit is from the west and the entrance of the northern unit is from the north. There is a terrace on the eastern front of both units, which is the main direction of recieving light. The placement of the interior spaces of the units is such that the bedroom, living room and kitchen benefit from natural light.
In the south unit, the entrance is located in the current corridor (west front of the unit). At the entrance, the bathroom (northwest) and the kitchen (southwest) are located. The bedroom and living room are placed next to the terrace to benefit from natural light, and the kitchen uses the light entering the living room. In the alternative plan, part of the living area is added to the bedroom area.
In the northern unit, the entrance is from the north of the building. At the entrance, the bathroom (northwest) and the bedroom (northeast) are located. In this unit, the bedroom receives light from the north in addition to the east. The kitchen and living room are located in the southern part of this unit and receive light from the terrace. In the alternative plan, the place of the kitchen and living room has been changed
