Residential - Villa
Dear Client,
Thank you for the opportunity to design your house. After studying and analysing your needs and the existing condition of the site, I proposed this design as a modern residence with a focus on clean spatial organization, open living areas, and a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces. The design places the house within a generous landscape setting, allowing the building to feel open, calm, and visually connected to its surroundings.
The floor plan is organized around a central living core that combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen in one continuous open-plan space. This arrangement supports flexibility, comfort, and everyday family interaction. The open layout also creates a clear visual flow from the interior spaces toward the terrace, outdoor dining area, garden, and bioclimatic greenhouse.
The house is designed with two main access points. The first entrance is the formal front entrance, which provides direct access from the exterior approach into the main interior area of the house. This entrance creates a clear and welcoming arrival sequence for residents and guests with closet to put the coat, and shoes. The second entrance is through the bioclimatic greenhouse, which offers a more informal and experiential way of entering the house. This secondary entrance strengthens the connection between the garden, the semi-outdoor space, and the kitchen.
The bioclimatic greenhouse is conceived as a transitional space between the interior of the house and the outdoor landscape. It functions not only as an additional dining and gathering area, but also as a climatic buffer that helps mediate light, air, and temperature between the outside environment and the main interior spaces. With its glass enclosure, shaded roof structure, and connection to the kitchen and dining area, the greenhouse allows natural light to enter while creating a comfortable semi-outdoor atmosphere. This space can be used for dining, relaxing, hosting guests, or enjoying the surrounding garden in different weather conditions.
The private area is positioned along the lower part of the plan, where the bedrooms are arranged in a quieter and more protected zone. This creates a clear separation between social and private functions. The bedrooms are directly connected to the internal circulation, while the bathrooms are placed efficiently between the rooms to support practical daily use.
Outdoor spaces play an important role in the overall concept. The paved areas, terrace, garden, and outdoor dining space extend the living functions beyond the interior of the house. These areas allow the garden to become part of the daily living environment, whether for dining, relaxing, or gathering with family and guests. The integration of the bioclimatic greenhouse further enhances this relationship by creating a sheltered living space that remains closely connected to the landscape.
The detached carport is placed separately from the main house and connected through paved outdoor circulation. This arrangement keeps vehicle access clear and organized while maintaining the main residence as a comfortable pedestrian-oriented living environment.
Overall, the design concept emphasizes a modern, open, functional, and landscape-connected residence. Through simple geometry, clear zoning, two entrance sequences, and the integration of indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse spaces, the house creates a balanced living environment that is both practical and refined.
I hope you like my design as much as I do.
Thank you
