Briefing

Torok Aik Belik Beach Resort, Lombok , Indonesia.

We are planning to build a Destination Resort in a pristine beach in Kuta Lombok.

Kuta Lombok is a pristine beach area that will encounter a great amount of tourism in the coming years thanks to it’s new opened International Airport.

The idead is to provide our guests a lifetime experience where they can live nature at it’s best, cristal clear water and amazing beaches at your doorsep will bring you away from their hectic life of the modern world but yet who wants can still being in touch with all the luxurious amenities of a design Resort; Wi-Fi, Flat Screen tv’s in Rooms, AC and Fans in all rooms, Warm water and bath tubs in Suites and some of the rooms.

The garden and green area should be with lots of green, palms and minimalist style.

Filling of the land to work on the elevation can be part of the project , but is not compulsory.

The river in the map, is a dry ditch and we would like to redirect it so that it does not affect the area we want to build in, so don’t consider it in the Master Plan.

The idea is about creating a Echo place that respects the local culture and materials such with teak wood and roofs such as thoose in the images attached that will be the reference in terms of style and furniture we would like to use.

We want a classical design with yet modern solutions in terms of design and space.

The resort will consist of 3-4 Suites villas with two rooms, so that kids can be accomodated in the second room.

There will be a block , this part of the project is one of the most important aspects of the masterplan, it that will have at least 10-12 rooms with sea and garden view.

The resort should have one main infinity pool, and a main body for lunch/dinner/bfasts and a space in the same body where the guests can chill out and read book and talk about the daily experiences in the Island.

Our activities will focus on;
-Surfing, for that we would like to have in the masterplan a floting bale’ on the reef area where Surfers can rest after their session.

- Yoga
- Mountan Bike tours
- Fishing
- Spear Fishing


We would like a space where we can do Yoga and part of the garden should be used for a small pitch a putt of golf for our guests, max 3 holes ( also this is not compulsory but could add value to the activites on sight).

Innovative Design, Creativity, Sustainability, Conceptual quality of the proposal and quality of the 3d images will be the principles on how we shall rate the work. We will need to use the Masterplan views for prospect investors so we would like to have a project that is well presented and effective.
In terms of materilas we would prefer teak and a reduced amount of concrete.
