Description

The project, as required by the client, provides for a new layout of the kitchen / dining space. The new arrangement makes the most practical and functional environment and takes advantage of all available space.
Mud Room: The entrance of the garage is not moved from its current position but it is filtered through the mud room. In this way, the garage door is not directly in the kitchen and at the same time you have available a very convenient pantry space and that can also be used directly from the kitchen. This space replaces the closet / pantry exists which is removed to create a more efficient solutions.
Kitchen: As requested by the client, it was decided to tear down the wall between the living room and kitchen, creating a unique environment that is not bounded by a real wall but the furnishings (the peninsula and the pantry). The kitchen was redesigned and improved from the functional point of view without totally disrupting the provision of water systems. The peninsula consists of a plan to take a quick meal or breakfast and a floor contains the stove with six burners. The new location the peninsula connects the kitchen with the living room, creating a visual continuum between the two spaces. On the opposite side is disposed the refrigerator, the double oven to column and a worktop with hanging full height which continue along the entire perimeter of the mud room.
Dining Area: The dining room consists of a few essential elements: the table for six people, a low cabinet and the pantry that, on the one hand partially separates the dining area from the living area and the other is a large pantry full height.
