Description

Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for opening the design of your new home to a competition and giving us the opportunity to work on this beautiful residence. I tried to make the most suitable analysis and design for your wishes and needs, I hope you like it.

DESIGN REPORT

Residential
I divided the layout of the rooms according to day-night and frequent-infrequent use. Thus, the living area and kitchen are located on the ground floor, the gym and guest room are located on the basement floor, and the bedrooms are located on the 1st floor. The attic is arranged as an entertainment area. This design style, which is widely preferred in architectural planning, will benefit you in terms of using and heating.

Connection
The existing building is designed as stand-alone apartments, but we are making it suitable for single family use. Therefore, after the first entrance, the entrance to the ground floor apartment was withdrawn to the stairwell. Thus, the staircase was enclosed in the residence without interfering with its structure.

Structure
According to the existing drawings, the walls of the stairs and the outer walls are carriers. However, this may be insufficient and there is a possibility that some other walls may also be carriers. While the new design was being made, the walls were designed only as a divider and a column was added right next to the shaft to strengthen the load-bearing system.

Plumbing System
Moving plumbing is a very costly work as it often means breaking through walls and floors. Considering this, the new wet areas and the kitchen were placed close to their current state. The wall next to the bathroom ventilation vertically connects the installation to the other floors. Hot, cold water and waste water pipes are distributed from this wall to the house.

Windows and Heating Installation
Windows overlooking the front and side gardens on the ground floor and windows opening to the balconies on the upper floors can be made in height. It is envisaged that the existing heating system will be maintained. There is an area in each room for the radiators to be moved according to the condition of the windows.

Interior Design
Soft lines, light tones and comfortable use are important topics of interior design. In addition, different descriptive colors used in some rooms support these general design decisions. Such as dark blue used in the study, burgundy in the bedroom or aqua green in the living area...
