Description

The proposed project aims to renovate a house, developed on 4 levels, in a "timeless" industrial chic style, using a modern approach tailored to the demands and lifestyle of the future residents. The design approach is characterised by a search for a simple and cosy atmosphere in every room of the house, conceived as a contemporary "loft" with great aesthetic but functional character at the same time. The common thread that runs through the entire home is a "focal element" in each room intended as a wall finish that can be wallpaper, ceramics or contrasting colour with the harmonious insertion of furnishings that use natural wood (almost raw - preferably reclaimed), iron and pastel colours in fabrics and furnishing accessories as materials. The design concept embraces the philosophy of lighting design to emphasise both natural and artificial light, creating "ad hoc" illuminations in relation to the functions performed.
As can be seen from the drawings, after a careful functional and distributive analysis, and following the thought that the higher you go, the more intimate and private the spaces become, is proposed:
- Basement floor: -shared area- a large home spa/fitness room to bring wellness into the home, a wine cellar with tasting table and a service area including stairwell, changing room, bathroom and boiler room;
- Ground floor: -private/shared area- a bright and comfortable home office, a space for guests or for dinners with friends without taking up private living space equipped with every comfort such as a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom; the floor is completed by a laundry, storage/ironing room and a stairwell that "opens up" and connects with the smart working area;
- First floor: -family heart- as one ascends the stairs, one is captured by a large glass opening that leads to the open living space, a large area with well-collected and defined functions where the style proposed for the house is fully evident (as visible in the renderings), in communication with the service bathroom; a hallway leads to the two children's bedrooms, equipped with walk-in wardrobes and both with access to the balcony;
- Attic floor: -private nest- an intimate and large master bedroom with bathroom and balcony.
