Description

This proposal manages to provide a modern and very functional design with the ability to provide to the future inhabitants a certain level of design adaption to their habits, daily routine and future living, and life plans.
The core of the design proposal is dividing the living space into the daily (less private) and night (totally private) use. The first thing that happens when a guest enters through the main apartment door is a welcoming space that opens itself to the daily part, kitchen, dining, living room and terrace. But, the owner of the apartment or their private guests can easily access to the night (private) part, as well, almost without even been seen.
this is clean and easy to understand apartment space dividing and without wasting any of its interior space.
Another reason for not choosing to put the living room in the pentagonal room is that in this way we are using all the existing plumbing positions that saves investors so much money and troubles in the reconstructing phase.
It seems that in this way we have lost the views of the city but designer would like to emphasize that the proposed organization can even fit better to the specific future inhabitant’s profession and daily routine that looks like at the first glance. it seems more logical to wake up in a bedroom with the great views of the city that is waking up also and giving the stimulus to go to work with full energy, coming back in the afternoon to the more peaceful kitchen, dining and living room space but also with nice views of the city, but more peaceful, make a most needed rest from a daily work, also socializing, and then go back to the bed again with the city that also went sleeping.

the hallway space is with the optimal dimensions to welcome a few guests at the same time but also not too large and not wasting space. it can be easily accessed from the main hall to the WC for quick washing hands. The hall is the first thing user see when meets the apartment so the designer paid special attention when designing this part of the interior.

The user could then choose between going into the kitchen, dining, living room space or directly to the terrace.

The design provides a great quality connection of the kitchen and dining space and further with the living room but also a concise dividing the part of the space for rough food preparation from the rest of the space. Besides the space for dining, there is a space for taking a quick breakfast, a snack or a quick drink. Also, this space can be used for serving the food.

A dining room is providing space for serving 8 to 10 people at the same time.

A big living room also has a library space a piano and several mini spaces for taking a nice rest with a book, music, nice chat in two, or else…
Also, the design provides one similar space beside the dining but a bit larger, a lounge area with tv, internet or even gaming console.

the night space consists of one anteroom with further access to three rooms (two full-size and one with one bed) and two bathrooms or in the variant, two full-size rooms, one office room, and two bathrooms.
the night part of the apartment can be used in parallel with the rest of the apartment (multi-users) which is not usually the case and can’t be easily provided in the apartments.

The smaller room can be used as a child room from its birth to the adolescence, a one-bed guest room or like an office.
One big room is meant to be used as a master bedroom for the owners and the other room with similar size can be used as a big guest room with a double bed, or as a child room.

notes:
The designer is more like for the first variant in a proposal because it offers a big kitchen but the second one also has a few nice suggestions for the client to choose for, especially in the bathroom proposals.
The design doesn’t offer to extend the terrace space for the following reason: impacting the façade in any way, changing it, making the openings bigger or smaller and so, is requesting making a reconstruction project in a form of the application that needs to be submitted to the city authorities. City authorities than choose to give the permit or not to the reconstruction works, based on many factors that can go complicated in many directions. The proposed design in both variants is proposing only interior works with no impacts on any building exterior part. In this way, the client can execute all the works without submitting for any permits to the authorities. They only need to sign for the works, its duration and daily working hours.
