Per ridurre l’occupazione del suolo a disposizione e per ridurre l’incidenza, in termini volumetrici, del tetto a falde e ottenere così la massima superficie coperta si è deciso di sviluppare l’abitazione su due livelli. La forma risultante è una forma compatta sia dal punto di vista volumetrico che dal punto di vista architettonico: un cubo ideale contiene l’intera costruzione, al quadrato di base corrisponde l’altezza (al colmo) uguale alla dimensione dei lati. La configurazione della pianta è altrettanto semplice e lineare. Tutto si sviluppa intorno alla scala centrale che divide entrambi i piani in parti uguali. Il primo piano è quasi del tutto occupato dalla zona living con l’ampio soggiorno da un lato e la zona pranzo con la cucina open space dall’altro. In un angolo è ricavato uno spazio lavanderia e un piccolo bagno di servizio. Gli altri tre angoli sono svuotati e chiusi da ampie vetrate che permettono la continuità interno – esterno dal punto di vista visivo e funzionale (il soggiorno e la zona pranzo, verso sud, si dilatano verso il patio esterno e la campagna circostante). Al piano superiore la zona notte si compone di due camere da letto, il bagno padronale e la stanza del benessere attrezzata con una sauna finlandese e una doccia emozionale. La sauna, con un intero lato vetrato è sistemata di fronte ad un’ampia vetrata che consente di godere del panorama dal suo interno. Una delle camere da letto, la padronale, e attrezzata con una cabina armadio; dall’altra è invece possibile, mediante una seconda rampa di scale, salire su una zona soppalcata da adibire a studio o a camera degli ospiti.
L’area esterna è organizzata in due aree distinte: la prima è quella che va dall’ingresso al lotto fino al parcheggio coperto la cui copertura racchiude anche il capanno degli attrezzi realizzato in legno così come la pensilina che dal parcheggio conduce all’ingresso dell’abitazione. Una buona parte di quest’area (carrabile) è pavimentata con un battuto di ghiaia e cemento, la restante parte e lasciata a verde. Fra il capanno e la casa l’area a verde si può destinare ad orto domestico per la coltivazioni di erbe aromatiche e piccoli ortaggi. La seconda area, verso sud, è organizzata come giardino con piantumazioni per lo più cespugliose a meno di un paio di filari di alberi da frutto che, oltre a dare frutti, offre ombra d’estate e essendo alberi cedui restituiscono in maniera tangibile la sensazione dell’avvicendarsi delle stagioni. In fondo al lotto la piantumazione ritorna alta e naturalmente “disordinata”.

The first floor is almost entirely occupied by the living area with the large living room on one side and the dining area with the open space kitchen on the other. In one corner there is a laundry area and a small service bathroom. The other three corners are emptied and closed by large windows that allow internal - external continuity from a visual and functional point of view (the living room and the dining area, facing south, expand towards the external patio and the surrounding countryside). Upstairs the sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, the master bathroom and the wellness room equipped with a Finnish sauna and an emotional shower. The sauna, with an entire glazed side, is placed in front of a large window that allows you to enjoy the view from the inside. One of the bedrooms, the master, is equipped with a walk-in closet; on the other hand, by means of a second flight of stairs, it is possible to go up to a mezzanine area to be used as a study or guest room.
The outdoor area is organized in two distinct areas: the first is the one that goes from the entrance to the lot to the covered parking lot, the roof of which also encloses the tool shed made of wood as well as the shelter that leads from the parking lot to the entrance of the home. A good part of this area (suitable for vehicles) is paved with gravel and concrete, the remaining part is left green. Between the shed and the house, the green area can be used as a home garden for the cultivation of aromatic herbs and small vegetables. The second area, towards the south, is organized as a garden with mostly bushy plantations with less than a couple of rows of fruit trees which, in addition to bearing fruit, offer shade in the summer and being coppiced trees give the sensation back in a tangible way. of the changing seasons. At the bottom of the lot, the planting returns to high and naturally "disordered".
