Description

Dear client, after analyzing and studding your apartment ,taking into account the request you have made, i have come to the following project solution, were optimization of space, and simple modern minimalistic architecture is the key. I made both a project with the colors you requested and one with white tones, that in my opinion as there is not much space, white makes the spaces bigger tan darker colors, but that's up to you. The whole house was designed to work as a functional space, were circulation paths are clear and resting spaces are defined, although they combine and work together.
DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION:
No new walls were added, furniture works in the project as fake walls.
ENTRANCE:
Removing old door and changing it for a single wooden lacquered door.
ROOM:
The first door you encounter is the bedroom, were wardrobes and drawers were design for best space optimization .
LIVING:
The living room is the center of the project, were floor to ceiling panels dress up the old building structure to make up a great modern apartment. Floor as in all the house was changed to an Oak Herringbone parquet, that gives that stylish decorative yet sober style to the house.
Ceiling hast been lowered to install new lighting and to be able to transport pipes through out the new house distribution. New ceiling height is 3 m, yet really nice spatial sensation.
Integrated living/ kitchen space combines to create a great space, where wooden door panels hide functional everyday machines that are needles to be seen as they would interfere the visual sensation of relief i was seeking for this flat, such as the washing machine, trash can, fridge ( which is a built in refrigerator , meaning you open the door and the fridge door is attached to the wooden door).
Next follows a wheeled stone island that will allow you to change the space into a 2 living person area to a bigger dining table for guests with just moving it and moving the couch.
The sofa looks down to the main street as well as to the TV house and the Bioethanol fire pit that are hanged on a concrete like wall.
BATHROOM:
This place of the house was designed with terrazzo floor and a stone walk in shower that whispers tranquility. With a long board from wall to wall were sinks are placed, this element also helps in making the sensation of a bigger space , as well as the mirror . Walls were painted with epoxy white paint to last for years. ( epoxy paint is what boats are painted with to ressist water) Closets in the bathroom and drawers hide everyday mess inside , and helps the space be clean and shiny.
BALCONIES:
Balconies were renewed with WPC wooden decks .
WINDOWS:
Little bedroom window was eliminated to make space for more closet. ( this can be left and make a study corner also)
The main window in the room was changed to become a one sheet aluminum window door.
The Living room was also changed to one sheet aluminum window door.
The bathroom window door is now only a window that opens to ventilate space.
LIGHTS:
Lights where designed to go with the new spatial design.

Hope you like the project as much as I do !
Regards.
