Project Description – Dental Clinic “My Clinique”
The intervention aims to transform a commercial space into a contemporary, warm, and functional dental clinic, avoiding the typical cold and sterile atmosphere. The design responds directly to the client’s desire to create an environment that balances cleanliness, well-being, and technology without compromising comfort or aesthetics.
The main operational area features three fully equipped dental stations, integrated within a space that combines natural materials and biophilic elements. The use of vertical wood slats, natural greenery panels, and a neutral color palette with warm accents provides a sense of calm and comfort—key to reducing patient anxiety.
Natural light has been prioritized through large windows, complemented by soft, diffuse artificial lighting that adds depth and uniformity to the space. The gypsum ceiling with recessed lighting and wooden linear elements enhances the verticality of the room and reinforces the feeling of spaciousness.
The amber-tinted textured glass partition framed in black offers privacy while maintaining visual continuity. This strategy allows for light flow between zones while respecting the technical requirements of each workstation.
The furniture was carefully selected for its clean lines, easy-to-sanitize surfaces, and light tones that reinforce a sense of hygiene and order. Each dental chair includes an integrated screen in front of the patient, fulfilling the client's request to display radiographs or calming visuals during procedures.
Integrated perimeter planters and greenery reinforce the biophilic concept, contributing to both patient relaxation and staff well-being.
“My Clinique” stands as an innovative proposal in dental clinic design: it humanizes the medical environment through a warm, elegant architectural language while fully meeting technical and operational needs.
