Description

Favoring the easily visible long axis of the apartment, the proposal aims at creating along it the required spaces in the brief so as to achieve different atmospheres, through the use of furniture disposal and lightning, while keeping them interconnected. This same long direction was also searched for along the walls, thus generating a cocktail bar, a dressing room, or a wall covered in mirrors (the entrance wall of the master bathroom). Lightning plays and important role in this organization as it is thought to be an accent in an otherwise linear and geometric interior design, as it can be seen in the references attached. Bathrooms have not been entirely moved if at all, because of the piping and sewage system. I thought it's best to keep them as much as possible where they are. Flooring has not been proposed for removal or replacing, as it is a rather big hustle to do that. More info on all this though can be find inside the boards.
I hope after going through all of them, the project will speak to you and its strong points and potential will be sufficiently visible so as to respond to your requirements. In any case, it was a pleasure working on such a nice and versatile apartment in a city like Milan. Grazzie!
