Thank you for the opportunity to take part in the Casetta project.
Based on the project's scope, the initial layout has been modified by making the living, dining and kitchen areas more open and interconnected. The kitchen has been located adjacent to the balcony French window with a complete cabinetry wall as the backdrop. The kitchen island has been located at the center of the layout as a feature element to separate the kitchen from the dining space yet completely open without any obstructions. The minimalist modular sofa has been located adjacent to the dining space with a built-in decorative TV wall unit.
As the second part of the project, the sleeping area has been modified with a master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and built-in closet while optimizing direct circular paths. The second bedroom has been slightly modified with a wall shifting towards the central aisel, providing some clean straight visual to the passage while utilizing the extra space for a built-in wardrobe making the interior more minimalist. The third bedroom/study room has been improved with dual access consisting of direct outdoor access as well as indoor access which is preferred to use as necessary. The common bathroom has been planned with a free-standing bathtub at the entrance of the bathroom, creating a dramatic vibe while entering with a much more relaxed feeling while looking outside through the opposite window and having a peaceful bath.
The colour palette mainly consists of neutral shades of beige tone predominantly with some white shades, while the textures of timber as the main contrasting palette to add more depth to the interior. In addition to the depth, timber textures allow the interior to feel much more warm and homely with lighting.
