Description

This concept project is focused on minimal structure changes to the existing walls and moving water piping, while taking special consideration of the daylight. Living and night areas are separated in two zones for better comfort.

Kitchen is accessed from the living room via pocket door. A glass door is recommended so that more natural light enters into the living room. Living room is wider for comfortable placement of a sofa with two end tables, coffee table, armchair, library in the corner, piano, and TV unit and shelves.

The sleeping area is separated by a small hallway and storage from the noise of the living room. The new door acts as a sound barrier but it can also be only an opening. There is space for extra wardrobe/storage unit if the residents need it.

The storage room can be accessed through sliding doors directly from the living room or from the hallway (option A or B).

Two sinks placed on a big cabinet and a spacious shower create a luxury bathroom. The laundry machine for option A can be hidden using walls, or inside a furniture, or it can just be freestanding. For option B it is placed in a laundry-storage space. Shower for option A is 90/160 cm., while in option B is 90/140 cm.

Master bedroom has king bed with two night stands, big wardrobe, and a small desk.
