In both design options, the architects prioritized minimal demolition.

Accordingly, by implementing minimal demolition of the existing storage area, we were able to repurpose it into a highly functional and efficient laundry space.

In the first option, the core design concept revolved around incorporating movable partitions to create a kitchen that could function in two distinct configurations—open and closed—allowing it to operate both independently and in seamless dialogue with the adjoining living area.*

In the second option, by positioning the new kitchen directly behind the existing one, we successfully minimized the required service runs for plumbing and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) installations. Furthermore, establishing a strong spatial and visual connection between the kitchen and the terrace was a key priority in this particular scheme.* thank you very much
