Project description

After thoroughly studying the existing layout of your attic-level apartment in the Parioli district of Rome, and carefully considering your family's needs, I have developed a renovation design that aims to create a modern, highly functional, and comfortable family living space.

Special attention was given to the separation between private and public areas. The layout includes a master bedroom with an adjacent walk-in closet, and two thoughtfully planned children’s rooms equipped with modern bunk beds and study desks — ensuring both comfort and practicality. The living, dining, and kitchen areas have been placed adjacent to the main terrace to maximize natural light and provide an inviting space for family gatherings and entertaining guests.

The kitchen design is sleek and modern, with durable materials and semi-open access to the dining area. It can also be closed off with a glass door for flexibility. Service areas include a compact yet complete laundry room, and a discreet maid’s room with a dedicated bathroom.

Material choices include chevron-patterned wood parquet flooring for dry zones and high-quality porcelain stoneware tiles in wet areas. A light, neutral color palette enhances the brightness of the space, while black or white window frames add a crisp architectural contrast.

I hope this design meets — and exceeds — your expectations, and helps create a warm, elegant, and highly livable home for your family.
