Residential - Room
Concept and atmosphere
The main goal of this project was to transform a compact 9 square meter room into a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing master bedroom. Following the client’s request, the design features a warm and modern palette dominated by “Tortora” (taupe) tones and light wood textures, perfectly complemented by the light “Spina Italiana” (herringbone) oak flooring.
Space optimization and layout
To maximize the usable area, two layout options were developed:
Variant 1: Explores a different orientation to focus on the TV with one cabinet, while maintaining a sense of spaciousness, and the second cabinet is dedicated to the bedside vanity.
coffee table.
Variant 2: Focuses on linear flow, positioning a 160cm or 140cm French bed to allow for a large floor-to-ceiling wardrobe and a separate dressing area, which extends to the TV area.
In both scenarios, traditional doors are replaced with folding doors to save space, and the “bridge” wardrobe is deliberately avoided in one variant to ensure maximum comfort and practicality.
Key features:
Storage space: A large-capacity, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe designed to maximize storage without overloading the space.
Dressing table: A separate beauty and grooming area, seamlessly integrated with the wooden elements of the room.
Multimedia: Strategic placement of the TV, ensuring a clean look with hidden cables.
Materials: Light oak wood, matte Tortora finish, linen fabrics and large mirrors to visually double the space.
