Residential - Apartment
Dear Client,
Thank you for sharing this project. In this design, I aimed to position the staircase in a way that allows us to create a strong vertical void alongside it, extending down to the ground floor.
Please note that some dimensions may not be entirely precise, as the project was not fully or clearly defined, and there may be minor inconsistencies between floors. However, the proposed concept is designed to bring high-quality natural light to all levels.
The void next to the staircase receives its light from a Glass roof that emerges from within the existing context of your design. The overall building height has not been increased; instead, a glass box has been introduced to guide natural light down through the floors.
To maximize daylight, I placed the kitchen on the second floor. On the third floor, I designed two seating areas suitable for gatherings or watching movies. Each floor includes at least one bathroom.
On the ground floor, which has a separate entrance, I designed a complete apartment unit. This layout can function either as part of the main residence or as a fully independent unit.
I hope you find this design proposal appealing.
