Description

Dealing with this project, I decided to renovate the whole house trying to open up the rooms as much as possible. I chose to propose glass walls to determine the living room, in which I modernized the fireplace. It will be a place for relaxing, reading and enjoying peaceful moments. For what concerns the kitchen, I decided to open up the space, I built plasterboard ceiling at the same height in all the house, in order to give the impression of continuity and fluidity of spaces.
The Den could be used as a dining room, as well as a small living room, I provided both a dining table and a couch.
I modernized the hallway too, changing the light fixtures and using recessed spot lights. The master bathroom has a built in bathtub and as much storage space I could find, adding a wardrobe just outside the bathroom too. The master bedroom accomodate now a queen bed ( I changed one of the windows adding a fixed glass in the corner ) and has a walk in closet that could be closed by sliding doors. For what concerns the kids, I decided to enlarge as much as possible the current bedroom, adding storage space too, and I provide a second bedroom that I think could be used in the future by the older boy if he will need his own space. Lastly, I propose to create a loft using the height (thanks to the pitch roof) , and to use a retracting staircase which could be lowered just when needed, saving space on the ground floor.
