The Beach House Patio project has been an incredibly rewarding and exciting endeavor to be part of. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this remarkable initiative.

The primary goal of the project was to extend the patio cover, creating a cooler, more comfortable space during the hot summer months. The challenge arose from the considerable distance to the project site, which required the use of lightweight materials wherever possible. Keeping this in mind, the patio cover has been designed with a timber pergola structure, topped with natural bamboo canopy panels to enhance shading.

New horizontal lines were introduced to frame the stunning view of the sea, seamlessly blending the outdoor space with the surrounding landscape. These lines visually define the frame of the verandah, both from within the space and the newly added covered area. To complement the natural materials, a warm, lightweight timber deck for the flooring has been introduced.

An outdoor kitchen, complete with a BBQ and serving counter, has been incorporated for evening gatherings and entertainment, offering a perfect space for relaxed conversations. A curved paving island, surrounded by lush artificial turf, creates a cozy, inviting area to enjoy the sea breeze. On the opposite side, we introduced a sunken lounge that harmonizes with the natural slope of the land, ideal for enjoying a fire at night with a larger group.

The lowest part of the property has been thoughtfully utilized for an outdoor shower and a covered storeroom, offering convenience after a refreshing sea bath. Additionally, another section of artificial turf has been reserved near the timber deck, designed for future use as a convertible on-ground pool.

Overall, I believe this project has come together beautifully, offering an exceptional space for both relaxation and entertainment. I wish the client many enjoyable moments and unforgettable experiences in their stunning beach house.
