Description

The architectural project of this 4-story apartment building focused on a modern and minimalist style with a historical touch to stand out within the historical context. Materials such as wood, glass, stone, concrete and steel were used for the façades, and it was decided to have a very open main façade with a lot of glass to guarantee a good amount of natural light and ventilation in the rooms and double-height areas. On the rear façade, glass and wood were used in the bathroom windows, and a large two-story window was placed in the stairwell area to provide good lighting and a beautiful view.

The layout of the building was planned with the vertical circulations in the center of the building to make better use of the space and to have small but well-lit lobbies. The bathrooms were placed next to the stairs to obtain ventilation and natural lighting.

On the ground floor, the two parking lots with their own access, each one as well as a pedestrian access at the rear, were also placed a reception or waiting area in order to give a more welcoming feeling, the stairs and the elevator are located on the ground floor. center in order to be accessible from any area.

On the first level there are two apartments with a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom, all the spaces are well ventilated and illuminated since the living room, kitchen and bedroom do not have dividing walls that hinder the internal distribution, so the spaces feel much more spacious, the style of the apartment is a modern and minimalist style.

On the second level, there are two loft-style apartments with a bathroom, kitchen and living room. The living room has a TV area under the stairs and a spacious and functional kitchen. In this area, there is a double-height window that provides excellent lighting and ventilation.

On the third level, there is the upper floor of the loft apartments, which has a room with a king size bed, a TV area, a closet and a desk area. This space can be accessed through the interior stairs of the apartment or the elevator that connects to all floors. The interior design of the apartment hides the access door to the room in the closet, which allows us to take advantage of all the available space, also, as can be seen in the floors, since we do not have to access the stairs of the building, we could take advantage of all this space for the room.

In addition, an alternative proposal is shown for the second and third floors if instead of two apartments there was only one. Overall, this project offers a perfect combination of modern design and functionality for contemporary living in a historic area.

In the renders, the loft-type apartment of the first proposal is shown first, where there are two individual apartments, as you can see the space is more than enough in this apartment, then the apartment on the first floor is shown and finally the bathroom that would be the Same for all departments.
