Description

The concept, in accordancewith the wishes of the client, was to arrange the daytime living section of the apartment into an open-plan area. The apartment‘sentrance hall is isolated with the introduction of glass doors,in order to visually separate the hallway area. From the kitchen one enters the pantry (storage area), whichhas a concrete covering. Part of the wall in the dining area has a special coating that acts like a school chalkboard. The parquet floor covering can be in a darker or lighter shade...
There are two variations for arranging the nighttimesection of the apartment. The first variation is conceived in such a way that themaster bedroom has a self-contained block that includes a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, while the children’s bedroom overlooks the balcony. According to the second variation, the master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony, while the children’s bedroom is located opposite and the walk-in closet, with an inclusive working space,is accessed via the hallway.
The balcony’s barrier has been rejuvenated and fitted with climbing plants that will cover the fence structurewhilst also contributing to the overall ambience of the apartment.
