Residential - Apartment
This renovation project aims to transform two existing adjacent apartments (A1 and A2) into a single, cohesive, and contemporary residence tailored to the lifestyle of a modern family. The design is based on the complete flexibility of interior partitions, allowing for an entirely new spatial arrangement with no restrictions on the relocation of plumbing or kitchen infrastructure.
At the heart of the concept lies the vision of a bright, open, and functional living space that harmonizes aesthetics with practicality. The main entrance is preserved through the central stairwell, leading into an intelligently zoned layout that prioritizes flow, privacy, and usability.
The new layout includes three bedrooms—one master suite with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, and two secondary bedrooms—alongside a quiet, naturally lit home office, and two fully equipped bathrooms. The living area is generous and open, designed for social interaction, relaxation, and visual continuity with the semi-open kitchen. A separate laundry room and a pantry are integrated for added convenience and efficiency.
Materiality and light were key considerations. The use of clean lines, high-quality contemporary materials, and thoughtful lighting solutions enhances the sense of spaciousness while emphasizing a modern and minimalist style. Every design decision reflects a commitment to comfort, flexibility, and timeless elegance.
