The interior design layout was developed based on the client’s functional needs and lifestyle, ensuring that every area is used efficiently and harmoniously. The furniture and accessories were mainly selected from IKEA, chosen carefully to fit both the spatial requirements and the Japandi Modern style concept.
A balanced combination of natural wood finishes, neutral tones, and greenery — such as small bonsai trees and indoor plants — creates a calm and elegant atmosphere, true to the essence of Japandi design.
For lighting, general ceiling lighting was designed for the kitchen, while a pendant lamp above the counter adds warmth and visual interest. Although the natural light reaching the kitchen (about 4 meters deep) is sufficient, the pendant light helps enhance the space ambiance during the evening.
In the TV area, the power outlet is positioned higher on the wall. To maintain a clean and refined aesthetic, a wooden louver panel was introduced to hide all cables and connections, allowing them to run discreetly behind it while seamlessly blending with the natural materials of the interior.
Overall, the project reflects a functional, cozy, and timeless living space — minimalist yet full of warmth and personality.
