Interior Design Project – Modern Japandi Style
An interior design project that seeks to express the balance between Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese serenity, resulting in a Modern Japandi aesthetic. The neutral color palette creates a light and welcoming atmosphere, in perfect harmony with the wooden flooring and exposed ceiling beams, which add texture and natural warmth to the spaces.
The clean and functional décor was designed to promote well-being and tranquility, inviting the resident to slow down and enjoy every moment at home. The furniture was carefully selected with versatility in mind: a sofa bed allows for easy hosting of friends, while the coffee tables can be rearranged to suit the needs of the space. Following the client’s request, we specified an extendable dining table with dual functionality perfect for both entertaining and working paired with comfortable chairs that harmonize with the rest of the furnishings.
In the kitchen, the design follows a simple and functional approach, featuring built-in appliances that keep the environment light and uncluttered while maintaining the understated elegance characteristic of the style.
For the bedroom, we created a cozy and balanced atmosphere. The continuity of the wooden flooring and the exposed beams brings warmth to the space. The neutral palette reinforces the sense of serenity, while the indirect lighting behind the headboard creates a soft, inviting glow perfect for moments of rest and relaxation.
In the bathroom, the same concept is reflected through the visual unity between materials, lighting, and furniture. The sand-toned walls and light wood cabinetry maintain continuity and warmth throughout the apartment. The backlit circular mirror and indirect lighting beneath the vanity create a delicate effect that enhances textures and reinforces a sense of calm. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to offer a soothing and relaxing sensory experience, where functionality and aesthetics coexist in perfect harmony.
The decorative elements across the environments were intentionally chosen and positioned to contribute subtly, reflecting the essence of the design concept.
Last but not least, lighting plays a key role in defining the atmosphere of the project. A combination of existing and new direct and indirect light points was carefully distributed to emphasize textures, highlight artworks and architectural features, and create warm, inviting scenes throughout different times of the day.
The result is a balanced urban retreat that combines functionality, comfort, and contemporary elegance capturing the essence of the Japandi style: natural, minimalist, and profoundly welcoming.
Progetto di Interior Design – Stile Japandi Moderno
Un progetto di interior design che cerca di esprimere l’equilibrio tra il minimalismo scandinavo e la serenità giapponese, dando vita a un’estetica Japandi moderna. La palette di colori neutri crea un’atmosfera luminosa e accogliente, in perfetta armonia con il pavimento in legno e le travi a vista del soffitto, che aggiungono texture e calore naturale agli ambienti.
L’arredamento, pulito e funzionale, è stato progettato per favorire il benessere e la tranquillità, invitando il residente a rallentare e godersi ogni momento in casa. I mobili sono stati selezionati con cura pensando alla versatilità: un divano letto permette di ospitare facilmente amici, mentre i tavolini da caffè possono essere riadattati in base alle esigenze dello spazio. Su richiesta del cliente, è stato specificato un tavolo da pranzo allungabile con doppia funzionalità perfetto sia per ricevere ospiti che per lavorare abbinato a sedie confortevoli che si armonizzano con il resto dell’arredamento.
In cucina, il design segue un approccio semplice e funzionale, con elettrodomestici a incasso che mantengono l’ambiente leggero e ordinato, pur conservando l’eleganza sobria tipica dello stile.
Per la camera da letto, abbiamo creato un’atmosfera accogliente ed equilibrata. La continuità del pavimento in legno e delle travi a vista dona calore allo spazio. La palette neutra rafforza la sensazione di serenità, mentre l’illuminazione indiretta dietro la testata del letto crea una luce soffusa e invitante perfetta per momenti di riposo e relax.
Nel bagno, lo stesso concetto si riflette attraverso l’unità visiva tra materiali, illuminazione e arredi. Le pareti color sabbia e i mobili in legno chiaro mantengono continuità e calore in tutto l’appartamento. Lo specchio circolare retroilluminato e la luce indiretta sotto il mobile lavabo creano un effetto delicato che valorizza le texture e rafforza la sensazione di calma. Ogni dettaglio è stato pensato con attenzione per offrire un’esperienza sensoriale rilassante e armoniosa, dove funzionalità ed estetica convivono in perfetta sintonia.
Gli elementi decorativi presenti negli ambienti sono stati scelti e posizionati intenzionalmente per contribuire in modo sottile, riflettendo l’essenza del concept di design.
Infine, ma non meno importante, l’illuminazione svolge un ruolo fondamentale nel definire l’atmosfera del progetto. Una combinazione di punti luce diretti e indiretti, esistenti e nuovi, è stata distribuita con cura per enfatizzare le texture, mettere in risalto le opere d’arte e gli elementi architettonici, e creare scenari caldi e accoglienti nei diversi momenti della giornata.
Il risultato è un rifugio urbano equilibrato che combina funzionalità, comfort ed eleganza contemporanea catturando l’essenza dello stile Japandi: naturale, minimalista e profondamente accogliente.
