Description

Dear Client,

Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project, it was a true pleasure, and I hope I've managed to create a proposal that suits your needs and preferences regarding spatial use and design style.

Through careful consideration of possible options, I think the proposed design has space utilized to its maximal potential while maintaining comfort in each room.
I'll briefly walk you through the proposal, even tho most is presented both through the plan drawing and renderings of each room.

Since the apartment is a holiday beach home and not a permanent residence, there is not as much need for a large kitchen, lots of storage space, and similar amenities needed in a place where you permanently live. There is space to add a peninsula in the kitchen parallel to the kitchen line if you would like to have more work surface area for food preparation.

As you enter the apartment, the bathroom is in its original position, but redesigned. It's equipped with a sink, toilet and bidet, a walk-in shower, and a washing machine with shelves above. The shelves could be a closed cupboard if it's something you would prefer, without much change to the total aesthetic of the bathroom.

The second bedroom is located in the position of the current kitchen. This was your preference, and even though I've tried other options, I've concluded that this truly is the best use of space and gives you more quality in the living area of the apartment. Since it is a holiday home, the assumption is that not much time would be spent in this room except for sleeping and rest. You mentioned preferred bed options as single beds and pull-out sofas. The room has enough space for three single beds as visible in the plan drawing, but I've decided to show one of them as a "Murphy bed" to achieve a larger walkable area in the room and get a more spacious feeling, especially if the three beds wouldn't always be used simultaneously. The wardrobes in this room are built-in above the beds to maximize the space.

At the end of the corridor, the living area is an open space with a small lounge area, dining area, and kitchen. Even though the room is small all areas are functional and comfortable to use. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, cooking hob with hood above, oven, sink, and the possibility to have a smaller dishwasher between the cooking hob and sink.
The living area is directly connected to the balcony space which is an extension of the interior organization.

The master bedroom is accessed from the living area and is furnished with a double bed, small wardrobe, nightstand, and console table with a tv hung on the wall opposite the bed.

I hope I've managed to clarify any doubts and questions you might have, if not feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Kind regards
