My requalification of this apartment is based on satisfying the customer's needs and aesthetic preferences while also implementing architectural and design techniques to maximise the livability of the given space. The main character of the apartment is the open space, the union between the living room and the kitchen, furnished with storage units next to the door. The decision to have an island that has a joint table permits maximal use of the area instead of having a separate dining table, which creates a crowded ambience instead of a free-flow. Both bathrooms are furnished according to the customer's request: bathroom 1 is furnished with a bidet, a shower, and a washing machine (additional). While the other is with a free-standing bathtub and a bidet. The study is connected to bedroom 2 with top-to-bottom custom bookshelves, functioning as a separator while also giving the illusion of a connected space (the two spaces are still divided by an interior wall with a sliding door to ensure privacy). Bedroom 2's charm is the closet, which has a small reading nook at the center, making the room more flexible and lighter.
