The most suitable position for the small office and instruments area is within the living room, as it offers generous space and requires only minor interventions. The two areas are separated by a drywall system composed of double 125 mm white gypsum boards with glass wool in between, ensuring excellent acoustic insulation both for working in the office and for playing instruments. At the same time, this drywall system improves the existing thermal performance of the space.
The proposed solution includes a double sliding incasso door, which can completely disappear into the wall when the instruments area is meant to be visible from the living room, or be closed off when privacy is required. Both the wall and the door can be painted in the same colour, or enhanced with boiserie systems to achieve a uniform and visually enlarged effect.
The office is positioned at the lower end of the proposed space. Though compact, it is functional and benefits from natural light through the window connected to the terrace.

La posizione più adatta per il piccolo ufficio e l’area strumenti è all’interno del soggiorno, poiché questo ambiente è ampio e richiede solo interventi minimi. Le due zone sono separate da un sistema di pareti in cartongesso, composto da doppie lastre da 125 mm in gesso bianco con lana di vetro interposta, che garantiscono un eccellente isolamento acustico sia per il lavoro in ufficio che per l’utilizzo degli strumenti musicali. Allo stesso tempo, tale sistema ottimizza anche le prestazioni termiche dello spazio.
La soluzione proposta prevede una porta scorrevole doppia a scomparsa, che può “sparire” completamente nella parete quando si desidera lasciare visibile l’area strumenti dal soggiorno, oppure chiudersi quando serve maggiore privacy. Sia la parete che la porta possono essere tinteggiate dello stesso colore, oppure arricchite con sistemi di boiserie per ottenere un effetto uniforme e visivamente più ampio.
L’ufficio è collocato nella parte inferiore dello spazio proposto: seppur compatto, è funzionale e beneficia della luce naturale proveniente dalla finestra collegata alla terrazza.
