Dear Client
The approach to the new renovation was based on your requests and inputs to improve the space, new furnishing ideas and new room colours.
The demolition and reconstruction work was limited and focused:
- the wardrobe in the corridor, near the kitchen, was eliminated in order to implement the bathroom with a shower tray (80x80 cm), a bathtub (80x170 cm) and a toilet bowl and bidet
- the other cupboard in the corridor was implemented to transform it into a small toilet, unfortunately the limited space only allowed the arrangement of the toilet and the sink
- the door of the master bedroom was moved to a more central position, in order to have more space for a larger wardrobe.
As far as the space between the kitchen and the jolly room is concerned, the idea was to divide these two rooms by means of a large sliding glass door and add another fixed window, so as to have direct light in both spaces and maintain the idea of open space. As far as the kitchen is concerned, the overall dimensions have remained the same as they are now, with a new colour scheme and three columns, one for the fridge, one for the oven and one for the washing machine and dryer. The sink has been moved under the window.
The family room has been furnished with a sofa bed, a small workstation for smartworking and a large central space for the children to play.
The living room has remained a large space where you can relax, has been designed a modern equipped wall where to place an additional computer station, in the niches next to the fireplace have been used spaces for shelves and a cupboard. a large sofa and sofa allow relaxation for the whole family.
As far as the finishes are concerned, a wooden floor laid in a herringbone pattern has been chosen (it is also possible to opt for a wood-effect porcelain stoneware). For the bathroom, we recommend large tiles (90x90 cm) and washable water paint finishes.
Doors should be painted in a homogeneous white colour so as to be able to play with the colours in the individual rooms, for example by painting the window frames and radiators.
