the request was to create a comfortable but cheap studio apartment, since the entire building will be demolished in a few years.
I wanted to follow the customer's suggestions by proposing two very similar and equally functional solutions.
OPTION #1 . the bathroom stays in its current position, as well as the kitchen, as requested by the client. the living and sleeping areas are separated by a full-height curtain and a modular bookcase creates a visual screen that acts as a filter in the entrance area. the loggia or porch is dedicated to a relaxing environment.
OPTION # 2 the bathroom is moved to the center of the apartment becoming the nucleus around which to develop the whole environment. this helps to delineate spaces by attributing to each their own identity. the kitchen is linear and finds its ideal location in the entrance. An extendable table "consolle" is versatile and is the best solution for tiny environments. The conversation area is located next to the loggia. the sleeping area is located behind the toilet cube and is shielded from the living area with a modular bookcase.
I wanted to propose two solutions to have a wider vision of space management. for any doubt do not hesitate to contact me. (sorry for my english)
