Description

Dear Client, I sincerely hope that I managed to successfully answer to Your amazing task. It was a true pleasure working on Your project.
The concept was derived from the idea of creating warm, comfortable and functional spaces, filled with light.
The house is divided into two sections, on the left side is the living-sleeping area, and on the right side is the service rooms, technical, and on the upper floor, the multifunctional room (which can be accessed through hidden door) where your creative side can be expressed in peace and quiet.
In the center of the house there is a open gallery which allows amazing visual communication between two floors at any time, and also the feeling of large open space, which can be contemplated to the fullest at any point in the house itself.
Also, the house relation to the surrounding landscape was achieved with special care to the old structure, most of it was kept original, without any unnecessary demolition.
The connection with the building B would be achieved with two light, glass box type, bridges, one connecting the kitchen, on the position of the outside kitchen door on the north-east side, and the other on the first story, straight from the gallery (the same side of the house, near the old fireplace, this would be achieved by demolishing small amount of the old stone wall, therefore creating a opening near the corner). By this subtitle connection of the two buildings, with maximum functionality and practicality, thus creating a relationship between stone structures, we achieve a certain sense of respect and importance of the old buildings. The bridges would allow amazing views towards south east.

Best regards.
