Description

Dear Client, thank you for the opportunity to work on your project. My interior design is based on your briefing and requests of having a elegant yet ecletic vibe that emphasizes the character of the apartment. All the furniture pieces were selected carefully in order to meet the budget requirements, therefore saving money for flooring, masonry work, door and window refurbishment.

ROOMS IN DETAILS:
LIVINGROOM
The main piece in the living room is the bookshelf that connects to the TV unit. The base structure is made from metal and it needs to be fastened to the wall via screws. On top of the metal structure the wooden shelves are positioned. The living room is divided into two spaces: the TV area and the dining area. The dining area is positioned at the back of the room near the window in order to create a more open and functional space in the middle of the room.

KITCHEN
The kitchen cabinets are positioned on the right wall in order to create more flow coming in from the entrance into the kitchen. The space also allowed to add a snack bar with bar stools and an cabinet storage above the head. The kitchen contains the main appliances and a glass side board as requested. The back splash and countertop are made from porcelain tiles, which allows for easier maintenance and a more elegant look. The color palette is also based upon your taste.

ENTRANCE / CORRIDOR
Since you did not specify any idea for the corridor, I wanted to add some functional element to the space to make it useful and at the same time aesthetic. I added a bench which is semi-inset into the wall that is complemented with two plant boxes on each side. Since this is the first thing you see when you enter the apartment, I wanted to create an inviting and welcoming space for your guests. On the other side there is a matching bookshelf with the same semi-inset design, framed by wooden boards.

BEDROOM
The main goal was to design a clean and sleek looking room as you requested and I achieved it by connecting the queen bed with the wardrobe on the side. On each side of the bed there are attached nightstands to the backboard. The wardrobe is elegant and functional and it accommodates folded and hanging clothes.

BATHROOM
The bathroom is simple and clean. I played with the colors and shapes of the washbasin, toilet and bidet. The contrasting colorful floor tiles complement the black matt finishes as well as the microcement Mortex in the wet areas.

It was a pleasure to work on this creative project. If you have any further questions regarding the project please let me know.
