Residenziale - Appartamento
In the redesign of this family home, our approach was grounded in preserving the memory of the existing structure while reinterpreting it for a contemporary way of living. The project is not merely a physical subdivision, but a reorganization of spatial relationships between two generations within a shared context.
With a focus on construction efficiency and cost control, a consolidated service core was introduced to minimize structural interventions and facilitate the strengthening process. Load-bearing or structurally significant walls were preserved wherever possible, both to respect the integrity of the existing building and to optimize its structural performance.
The result is a house that does not deny its rural past, yet through a clearer spatial organization and a contemporary material sensibility, responds precisely to the present needs of its inhabitants.
