We are very happy to have participated in your contest.
We designed the house with the aim of creating a bright house, with functional spaces and good access between the parts of the house.
On the ground floor, we demolished the non-structural walls around the bathroom to create an open space.
We moved the internal staircase and moved it under the external staircase of the first floor.
We slightly enlarged the opening between the two main rooms to create more access between the rooms.
We dedicated one of these two rooms to the living room and the other to the kitchen/dining room. With this division, both main parts of the house, while having good natural light, also have good access to the new gazebo and the garden.
We placed the bathroom, laundry and storage (technical room) in a part that is separate from the main living space and kitchen, the laundry has good access to the kitchen and the storage has direct access from inside and outside the house.
On the first floor, we designed your bedroom with functional spaces and access to the terrace and garden view.
We also designed the second room as a passage room to the second floor, which can be used as a storage room or a guest bedroom by placing a wardrobe and sofa bed.
We also designed the second floor as a complete apartment for personal use or rental.
We placed the bathrooms and kitchens of all three floors in a place that is close to each other to reduce the cost of implementing the water and drainage system.
We chose a combination of light colors, cream, wood and natural stone for the interior design.
Considering the low height of the floors and your prediction to use a wooden ceiling, we suggested a light-colored wooden parquet for the floor to prevent the visual reduction of the height of the floors.
