Ampliamento zona giorno - Extension of the living area

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this exciting contest.
The main objective of the project was to create an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, with an island serving as a central interaction space that unifies the entire layout. Based on the existing floor plan, the open-concept design was developed to allow a smooth and natural flow starting from the entrance, where residents can conveniently store their boots and coats upon entering the home.

The existing sleeping area has been left unchanged, except for the storage room, which has been repurposed for cleaning supplies and utility storage.

Additionally, a terrace has been proposed adjacent to the existing porch, providing direct access from the kitchen through a French window, offering a pleasant outdoor space for residents and guests to enjoy during the summer.

The color palette follows a neutral and natural theme, incorporating materials such as natural timber, slate tiles, and other earthy finishes.
