The project is located in the old general warehouse in Verona, where UniCredit has decided to move its local headquarter. The client required the organization of the entrance hall, the outdoor spaces and interior spaces of the first floor, using the concept of smart working according to the new corporate policy. The main idea is gained by a summary of the customer's requirements, the historical context and the smart working principles. The modular element of the shipping container, which recalls the concept of the general warehouse, is used to define the smart working facilities of the first floor, to create a connection between the interior and the exterior of the building and to shape, in the exterior, new spaces: here a crane (which refers to the traditional concept of high-rise headquarters of the banking power) moves the containers that can be arranged and assembled to host various activities.
