International student competition 120 hours.
Designed structure was for "OYA" music festival in Norway.
Newly designed structure is self-sustaining.
It is also a landmark in the area which can be used before and after festival.
Project description
The main idea are sustainable triangle spots.
The structure consists of a steel column and
light wooden triangular shell, which is remaining on trees.
That way it fits into existing nature and reminds of a Norwegian forest.
At the same time, it doesn't affect nature with a scale or meterial.
Each tree has function during festival and before and after festival.
During the festival it is a meeting point as well as food and drink spot.
After the festival it can be transformed and used as a climbingg wall
at the day and glowing advertisement at the night.
