The proposal suggests a contemporary way to use the forms and materials respecting the surrounding area. The basement and surounding walls are covered with stone, setting a "base" for the house. The house is devided in two volumes covered with brick. These volumes are separated by a metal structure for horizontal and vertical movements. The division of the house in two volumes facilitates the future separation of the house. Large corner windows and skylights to the basement are a characteristic of the solution. Wood can be featured in the interior (floors, cabinets etc). External yards can be paved in brick, too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
