The project implies the construction of
a volume for the new kitchen in continuity with the placement of
existing rooms. In order to obtain a confortable space for the dining
table area and simplify the transition from one room to another, the
access to the new kitchen is positioned towards the entrance room,
leaving a large part of walling (evaluating the possibility to keep
the existing window open) for structural matters.
The height of the room of the kitchen increases towards the garden and the valley with glass sliding
panels allowing to use the space at the same time with the outside
with sunny/warm weather; the shape is dynamic and the materials are
in harmony with the existing building considering recommendations
made by the authorities responsible for the protection of the
landscape.
