Dear Client,
It was a pleasure to work on your project, and I hope I've managed to meet your needs with my proposal.
In the brief, and in discussion with designers you've expressed your needs and wishes regarding the arrangement you wish to obtain. In regard to that, I've created a proposal named option 1, but also added another proposal named option 2. Option 2 is very similar to option 1 and only defers from it in the living area (kitchen, dining, lounge, and area that once belonged to the large bathroom).
I will briefly explain both options to give you insight into the spatial benefits of both options.
OPTION 1
The spatial arrangement is kept as it is in the current floor plan.
The studio has not been changed except for the furniture arrangement in the room.
The master bedroom is furnished with a large double bed and a built-in wardrobe. By the window, there is space for a desk or makeup table or it could be arranged as a reading nook with one or two lounge chairs. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower, toilet, and double sink. If you would like to have a bidet it could be easily arranged by having a single sink instead. As I aimed for as few changes to the walls as possible, I've kept the entrance to the en suite bathroom as it was but if you are willing to make some changes the bathroom could be mirrored and the entrance would then be by the window and this would give you a wall surface to eventually hang a tv that could be watched from the bed.
The second bedroom now has its own bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. The room is furnished with a double bed with nightstands and a desk, while the space of the walk-in wardrobe could be used otherwise if it's not a feature you would like or need. It could be a study area with a smaller built-in wardrobe or similar.
In this option, the kitchen is kept in its original position and extended along the wall as enclosed storage space to keep the continuity of the space. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a central island with 4 seats. The dining area is dimensioned for 6-8 people and has enough space to be further extended if needed in case of a larger event.
The kitchen and lounge are visually divided by the fireplace that I imagined as a two-sided fireplace where the atmosphere it creates can be enjoyed on both sides.
The lounge is furnished with an L shape sofa and lounge chairs with the fireplace as a focal point of the room with a tv above it.
The space where the bathroom used to be is now divided into three rooms; a small toilet, pantry, and laundry. The pantry has shelves along with the wall, and enclosed cabinets in the niches. The laundry space is equipped with a washer, dryer, and sink. The machines are fitted into a cabinet and have a continuous work surface on top of them for folding etc. and shelves above.
OPTION 2
As mentioned earlier, the sleeping areas and studio space are the same as in option 1 while the living space is "flipped".
The kitchen and dining space are now to the right from the main entrance. This gives you the possibility to have direct access to the pantry from the kitchen through a hidden door that looks like a kitchen cabinet. The pantry is more spacious in this scenario and has natural ventilation. the kitchen is equally equipped as in option 1, and so is the dining area while it is now closer to the fireplace for some additional cozy atmosphere during a diner.
This change is possible and easy since you already have all the needed installations in this area since it's by the existing bathroom space.
By flipping the sides the kitchen is placed on the smaller size of the space which gives you a lot more spacious and open lounge. The lounge is now furnished with an L shape sofa and chairs, a built-in unit along the long wall with both tv, bookshelves, and storage space. And a small nook is placed by th3 window for a more intimate atmosphere for one or two people to read in the evenings or enjoy a morning cup of coffee by the open window.
The bathroom space in this option is also divided into three rooms as in option 1. I've already mentioned the pantry space that has access from the kitchen, while the other two rooms have access from the corridor. The toilet is of similar size as in option 1, while the laundry is equally equipped but a little smaller.
I hope I've been as clear as possible and I'm at your disposal if you need any further help with your project or any additional drawings regarding built-in furniture or any other aspect of the project.
Kind regards
