For some time now we have been doing some projects in the sphere of drawing minimum square meter apartments. So it wasn't hard to design this one. We followed your regulation and made the mezzanine (+ stair) occupiend exacly 50% off the floor plan. On the mezzanine you have the sleeping area for you and one more person. It is realy easy to climb on the wooden stairs and the beds are placed so that it won't be uncomfortable for anyone. There is also a big table so that you can put your newspaper or tablet and even work on the mezzanine floor while your partner works on the lower floor. Just as you enter your apartment there is the bathroom which you enter through a sliding door. It is there because it is a must since you have the toilet pipes on that side. It has a shower, WC and sink that can all be used with ease, because of the sliding door, you have enough space for all needed, and could possibly add a few storage cabinets. Any other plan cannot be done. On the other side is the kitchen that is simple to use and efficient. Right next to the oven is a little table with 2 chairs so that you and one more can enjoy dinner or work together with your laptops. The furthest part is the living room. The plants are put on the little bump you have on the curtain wall. It gives a little zen peace to the room enviroment, and in case the loft windows are turned towards a sunny side, provide a more practical sun shield than blinds. There is the couch that can be used to sleep and can be extended so that EVEN 4 people can stay in the apartment if needed. It will be crowded, but it's pleasent to know that you can host more people if really needed. The TV is just in front of the couch of that. The design is very functional and will not hinder any day or night activities.
