I have redistributed the rooms completely to give ample comfortable rooms. I have placed a double bed in one of the children´s rooms but of course a single bed fits better. The kitchen is open to the living room to make a complete living space. Trying to cut off the kitchen makes it small and corridor like and the benefits of closing it off (chiefly to avoid smell exiting) don´t outweigh the practical side. With a good extractor you can easily avoid smell pollution from the kitchen into the rest of the house. I have kept the wcs close to the existing drain points for simplicity. I have shifted the mainbedroom to the main facade.

The finishes are warm, contemporary and clean without being too neutral. I have gone for a warm palette which really helps to warm up the space. As for the flooring we could go for a mix of rich gres in the living spaces and a warm parquet in the bedrooms.
