Our layout is focused on the division of the apartment in different functional areas.
The entrance is in the living room, a wide room furnished with modular couches that, thanks to their design, make the space flexible and easily rearrangeble to different needs. On the left, after a closed room used as laundry and bathroom for the living room, there is the kitchen. The kitchen is divided from the living room through the use of a glass walls, in order to maintain visual continuity with the living room without blocking natural light. After the kitchen there is a wide space used as dining room furnished with other modular couches in order to have continuity with the living space.
The whole living area is “L” shaped with two terraces has a perfect integrity between inner and outer space: the terrace on the dining room can be used to dine outside in the warmer months; the one on the living room can be supplied with a veranda, after the consultation and permission of the communal administration.
From the living room there is the access to the rest of the flat.
On the right there,after an hallway, there are the studio, the main bedroom with his large walk-in closet and a bathroom. The studio and the main bedroom have access to the terrace. The bathroom has natural light and the hallaway can be used as dressing or furnished with shelves for the studio.
On the left, through a second hallway, there are two bedrooms, a third bathroom and the musical studio (that has to be soundproofed). The biggest bedroom is for the twins and is supplied with a walk-in closet. The second room can be used as playroom, provided with a sofa bed for eventual guests. In the future it can be used as a second bedroom for when the twins will be grown up, in that occasion it will be possible to have a second entrance to the walk-in closet in order to be used by both sisters.

Il progetto prevede la divisione dell’appartamento in aree funzionali distinte.
L’ingresso avviene sulla zona giorno. A destra troviamo un ampio spazio libero adibito a soggiorno e arredato con imbottiti che grazie alla loro conformazione modulare rendono lo spazio flessibile e facilmente trasformabile a differenti esigenze. Sulla sinistra dopo un’area chiusa adibita a lavanderia e a bagno per la zona giorno troviamo la cucina separata delimitata da pareti vetrate che permettono da un lato la chiusura di questo ambiente mantenendo la continuità visiva con il resto della zona giorno senza interrompere il flusso luminoso proveniente dalle aperture esterne. Dopo la cucina troviamo un altro ampio spazio aperto adibito a sala pranzo a attrezzato con alcuni moduli imbottiti che creano continuità con il soggiorno.
Tutta la zona giorno occupa così uno spazio ad L che affaccia su due lati verso i terrazzi in modo da permettere una perfetta connessione tra spazi esterni e spazi esterni. In particolare il terrazzo verso la sala pranzo potrà essere utilizzato durante i mesi caldi per pranzare all’esterno mentre dal lato del soggiorno si potrà prevedere la realizzazione di un’area verandata come proseguimento del salotto. La fattibilità e la consistenza di tale area dovrà essere verificata in fase di progetto definitivo con l’amministrazione comunale.
Dalla zona adibita a soggiorno si accede alle altre aree abitative.
A destra, attraversando un disimpegno si accede allo studio, alla camera patronale dotata di ampia cabina armadio e al bagno patronale. Studio e camera patronale avranno accesso diretto al terrazzo, il bagno sarà dotato di illuminazione naturale e il disimpegno oltre a assolvere la funzione di antibagno potrà essere attrezzato con armadiature chiuse o con un’ulteriore libreria a supporto della zona studio.
A sinistra, attraverso un secondo disimpegno si accede invece a due camere, ad un terzo bagno e alla camera della musica che dovrà essere insonorizzata per assolvere alla funzione. La camera più grande, utilizzata come camera da letto per le due gemelle è collegata direttamente con una cabina armadio, la seconda camera è adibita al momento a camera gioco e attrezzata con divano letto in modo da poter essere utilizzata all’occorrenza come camera ospiti. Questa camera potrà essere utilizzata in futuro come seconda camera da letto in modo che le gemelle una volta cresciute possano avere camere separate. In occasione di questa trasformazione potrà essere realizzata una secondo accesso alla cabina armadio in modo che possa essere condivisa dalle due stanze.
