A modern renovated cottage:
1. In order to create a comfortable living area I decide to open the kitchen towards the living room
creating a continuity in the space.
2. The open space let the light come from all directions, and enjoy summer sunlight.
3. The entrance (the most used) is between two walls : the one of the kitchen and another of the new closet ; properly makes to perceive and emphasizes the direction.
4. To create an outdoor kitchen I create a barbecue area you can reach from the existing door in between the kitchen and the living.
5. Using different color of wood for the floor and the wall the room look more natural, cozy, and warm; the light color of the wall make the space seem larger.
6. The storage is a second living with a day bed in order to use this for both use: a TV relaxing place or a secondary bedroom for guests.
7. For the outside some bench and small plants all around the perimeter is a simple way to relate with the nature all around and enjoy staying outdoor.
