La nuova casa è stata ideata come un “Piccolo Borgo” sul mare, formata da due volumi in pietra con la classica forma reinterpretata di un tipico fabbricato rurale siciliano e da un volume a forma di U rovesciata che collega i due villini, creando cosi un innesto architettonico moderno che insieme all'intero progetto vuole reinterpretare in chiave contemporanea una tipica abitazione rurale mediterranea.
Il progetto si caratterizza di 3 volumi : 2 corpi in pietra che ospitano: il soggiorno,bagno principale e due stanze da letto; e 1 volume contemporaneo che ospita : i posti auto, bagno secondario,la cucina,zona pranzo,veranda coperta, zona pranzo coperta e un ingresso coperto.
L' idea guida nella fase di progettazione è ovviamente il continuo rapporto visivo con il mare, infatti tutti i locali hanno un affaccio sul lato Nord, con finestre e pareti di vetro per mantenere forte il legame con una dei luoghi piu belli del mondo.
Nel lato Sud invece il linguaggio architettonico diventa materico e geometrico con poche trasparenze ma con linee piu pulite che aiutano a spiegare il contrasto tra casa rurale tipica e contemporaneità: contrasto tra la pietra e i volumi bianchi che si innestano.
La dispozione dei locali è stata studiata per avere la massima funzionalità e fruibilità degli stessi: l'ingresso collega/separa la zona notte dalla zona giorno,ospita al suo interno una stufa a pellet e una seduta trasformabile in letto per eventuale ospite,è direttamente collegato con la veranda esterna;a destra una grande apertura ci porta nel soggiorno, caratterizzato da una parete intera di vetro che incornicia il mare e da arredi minimali (solo il necessario), continuando verso Est si arriva in cucina, nella zona pranzo e quindi nel bagno di servizio.
Nella parte ovest della casa sono posizonate le due camere da letto, con vista mare diretta e in fine
il bagno patronale coposto da lavabo sospeso, sanitari e doccia con vista mare, con la possibilità attraverso una porta vetrata di uscire all'esterno perchè è stata predisposta anche una doccia esterna.
Per inserire meglio il progetto nel contesto e completarlo, abbiamo anche studiato la terrazza esterna, che è il continuo “non coperto” della casa, con zona solarium e piscina a sfioro sempre disposti a nord con vista mare.
Il lato Sud della casa invece lo pensiamo piu come giardino piantumato, con essenza arboree tipiche della zona che creaino zone d'ombra e aiutino il raffrescamento della stessa.
La slp di progetto è di 124,00 mq, escluse aree esterne e posti auto.
The new house was designed as a "small village" on the sea, it consists of two volumes with stone reinterpreted the classic form of a typical Sicilian rural building and a volume in the shape of an inverted U that connects the two cottages, creating a coupling that with the entire modern architectural project aims to reinterpret in a contemporary way a typical rural Mediterranean.
The project consists of three volumes: 2 bodies in stone that house: the living room, master bath and two bedrooms; and the first volume contemporary home: parking spaces, secondary bathroom, kitchen, dining area, covered porch, covered dining area and a covered entrance.
The 'guiding principle in the design phase is obviously the continuous visual relationship with the sea, in fact all the rooms have views of the North side, with windows and glass walls to maintain strong ties with one of the most beautiful places in the world.
In the South side instead architectural language becomes material and geometric with little transparency but with more clean lines that help to explain the contrast between the farm house and the contemporary: the contrast between the white stone and the volumes that are grafted.
The disposition premises is designed for maximum functionality and usability of the same: the entrance connecting / separating the sleeping area from the living area, houses inside a pellet stove and a seat converts into a bed for any host, is directly connected with the veranda; on the right a large opening leads into the living room, characterized by a full wall of glass that frames the sea and minimal furnishings (just enough), continuing to the east you get in the kitchen, in the dining area and then in the bathroom.
In the west of the house are posizonate the two bedrooms, with sea view and in the end
the bathroom patron coposto washbasin suspended sanitary and shower overlooking the sea, with the possibility through a glass door to go outside because it was prepared even an outdoor shower.
To insert more about the project and complete it in the context, we also studied the outdoor terrace, which is the continuous "not covered" of the house, with sun terrace and infinity pool always willing north with sea view.
The south side of the house, instead we think more like garden planted with trees typical of the area that essence creaino gray areas and help the cooling of the same.
The area of the project is 124.00 square meters, except outdoor areas and parking spaces.
