This is our new house we bought for the imminent arrival of our son / daughter.
The apartment, built in the late 70’s, currently has a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms (one with a very small high window), 2 rooms, the entrance and a hallway. It has 3 balconies, one in the kitchen and 2 in the living room. The apartment also has three windows walled up to date from within but outside existing with the blinds still present. These windows are located in the two bedrooms and a small bathroom in the horse. Expose to the south although on that side there is a building jast in front and so it is certainly not the best overlooks (the east side instead exposes a pleasant garden, while the west side exposes the entrance and on the road which is very quiet), but you can re-open if so needed.
We would like to renovate the apartment keeping the 2 bedrooms (one double room for me and my wife – perhaps with walk-in closet – and a double perspective to host 2 children), having two bathrooms, a small storage room / laundry room, a large living room and a kitchen in a saparate room or inside the living room (maybe with a kitchen island). We do not like the corridors, lobbies and lost spaces.
The technical slots (at the baths), where the system pipes are located, were made too large and with many lost spaces so we would like to reduce them to a minimum (just enough to accommodate the pipes indicated in the floor plan).
We would love to have a modern home, elegant, young but not too minimal, with predominant use of wood floor.
We’d like to have even an idea of the furniture, colors and lighting.
